Join the Ithaca Libertarians!

We have good times promoting liberty in the area, including:

• Operation Politically Homeless / World's Smallest Political Quiz outreach tables on the Ithaca Commons
• Writing letters to the editor and guest columns for local newspapers
• Bringing a libertarian perspective to local political discussion
• Hosting speakers: we brought 2004 Libertarian presidential candidate, Michael Badnarik to town to teach his class on the U.S. Constitution
• Annual Tax Day protest and outreach events
• Supporting campaigns: we support local, state and national Libertarian candidates and arranged the campaign visit of Michael Badnarik
• Publishing a periodic newsletter of our activities
• Social and fundraising events: for example, the Annual Independence Day BBQ and Campout
• Monthly meetings to stategize and socialize

The Ithaca Libertarians actively use a Yahoo Group to communicate (talking about upcoming events, politics, distributing newsletters, making plans, or just chatting). Join our free email group here if you haven't already. Alternatively to this Yahoo Group, we also keep a separate newsletter mailing list for distribution of our quarterly newsletters (.doc or .pdf format) and special announcements only.
