- Our Lights of Liberty winners received their certificates! Congratulations!
- Mike Sylvia, candidate for the 24th Congressional District, talked about his efforts petitioning to get on the ballot. We discussed having a separate meeting to support his campaign when we find out whether or not he made it - time & place to be announced.
- Our next Operation Politically Homeless is planned for Thursday, August 31, from 3-7 PM on the Commons near Autumn Leaves bookstore.
- We'd also like to participate in Ithaca's Apple Harvest Festival, Sep. 29 - Oct. 1, with our OPH and also candidate information - volunteers needed!
- Social Event - get together Sep. 3 (Labor Day weekend), 4PM - ? at Rowan Hill Farm, 430 Enfield Center Rd. E. for BBQ, bonfire
- New member Manuel volunteered to help put out our e-newsletter;thanks Manuel! Submissions always welcome.
- Next general meeting is Tuesday, September 19, 7 PM at 209 N. Aurora St., Ithaca
